WakeGlass is an alarm clock, timer and sleep-sound app for Android and iPhone with no ads, no account and no tracking. The only code in it that can reach the internet comes from the store: its purchase library, for the optional one-time Pro, and on Android Google Play's in-app review prompt.

What “no ads” means here

No advertising and no advertising ID.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking.
No account and no sign-in: there is nothing to sign in to.
No cloud. Your alarms, timers, workouts, focus sessions, settings and themes are stored on your phone only, and the optional stats are off until you switch them on.

The only parts that talk to the internet

Buying or restoring the optional Pro goes through the store: Google Play Billing on Android, StoreKit on iPhone.

Android Google's Play Billing library is built into the app, and it is the reason Android lists “internet access” for WakeGlass. WakeGlass's own code contains no network code. The in-app review prompt is Google's too.

iPhone StoreKit is the only framework in the app that uses the network. The App Store privacy label says “Data Not Collected”.

Change audio settings	Raises the alarm volume while it rings.
Vibration	Alarm vibration and the phase cues of Focus and the interval timer.
Disable screen lock	Declared, but not used by the app.
Play Billing · internet access	Added by Google's Play Billing library for the Pro purchase.

There is no location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage permission. The flashlight wake aid switches the camera light without camera access.

On iPhone

AlarmKit, so WakeGlass can schedule the alarms and timers you create. iOS asks once.
Notifications, for the Focus and interval cues and the wind-down reminder while the phone is locked. iOS asks the first time one is needed.
Live Activities, for the running timer on the lock screen.
Background audio, so sleep sounds keep playing with the screen locked.
Your own photo as a background is picked with the system photo picker, which hands over only the one picture you choose; WakeGlass never gets access to your photo library.

What is free, and what Pro adds

Free on both: alarms and snooze, timers and the interval timer, Focus sessions, stopwatch and world clock, the nightstand clock, bedtime reminder and Calm breathing, white noise and rain, backup and restore.

Pro, on both: all themes and colors, seven more sleep sounds, wake-up and workout stats, saved presets, vacation and holiday skipping, more alarm tones and app icons, 4-7-8 and Box breathing, flashlight and bright-screen wake.

Pro, Android only: dismiss challenges, sunrise wake, advanced scheduling. Pro, iPhone only: gradual volume and your own alarm tones (both free on Android).

Pro is a one-time purchase on both stores. There is no subscription.
